About CACEA

Founded in 2017, the Canadian Association of Consulting Energy Advisors (CACEA) is the national voice for Energy Advisors (EAs) working in both the existing homes and new construction sectors across Canada.

CACEA is dedicated to:
  • Elevating the professionalism of the EA community
  • Leveraging opportunities to support member success
  • Advocating for a sustainable and recognized profession
  • Fostering collaboration with key stakeholders in the building and energy sectors
In addition to serving our members, CACEA acts as a centralized point of contact for:
  • Homeowners
  • Builders and contractors
  • All levels of government
  • Utilities and program providers
  • Other stakeholders in the Part 9 residential building sector

Together, we are strengthening the role of EAs in Canada’s transition to more energy-efficient, resilient, safe, and sustainable homes.
