Have an impact, expand your network, and maximize your membership!

CACEA offers a variety of committees and working groups where members make a meaningful impact, grow their professional network, and get the most out of their membership.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE

Develops and promotes educational programs, training, and information exchange designed to meet the needs and expectations of CACEA members. Committee members help develop the educational calendar, identify speakers, seek educational partnerships and content, and ensure the Association provides valuable and varied learning opportunities.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

Establishes and executes strategies for membership recruitment and supports the growth, engagement, and retention of CACEA’s membership by advising on recruitment strategies, enhancing member value, and fostering a strong, connected community of Energy Advisors (EAs) and industry professionals across Canada.

TECHNICAL COMMITTEE

Identifies technical issues relevant to EAs, seeks clarity and solutions, and engages with external stakeholders on behalf of CACEA. It supports members in addressing technical challenges and delivering informed services and advice. The committee also contributes to the development of reports, guidance documents, FAQs, and timely industry feedback and position statements.

COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING TASK GROUP

Guides the development and execution of clear, strategic, and effective communications that promote the value of EAs, grow membership, enhance engagement, and elevate CACEA’s presence as a national leader in the Part 9 sector.

Other Member Engagement Initiatives

NATIONAL AND REGIONAL EA COUNCILS

The EA Councils meet several times a year, offering a valuable platform for CACEA’s Full and Junior EA members to stay informed on industry developments and association updates.

These meetings also serve as an open forum—providing members the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and raise concerns directly with peers and CACEA leadership.

Participation is exclusive to Full and Junior EA members.

WOMEN’S FORUM

This informal quarterly gathering offers a welcoming space for CACEA members to connect, network, and share experiences.

It is open exclusively to members who are women, identify as female, Two-Spirit, or non-binary. The goal is to foster peer support, community, and meaningful conversation in a respectful, inclusive environment.
